The 2022 Mass Book is OPEN. The only way to reserve a Mass at Resurrection is online.
Mass offerings are $20.00 per mass. Having masses said for a loved one at Resurrection Church is a noble and ideal way to honor a deceased person. There is a beautiful tradition in the Catholic Church of offering masses for the soul of a family member or friend. We encourage all Catholics to properly mourn the loss of a cherished relation or friend by having a mass said in our parish.

TODAY'S GOSPEL
Gospel: Mark 6:30-34
The apostles returned after their first mission and told Jesus what they had done and taught. He told them to rest, but the people kept coming to them. So they went to find a private place, but the people learned where they were going and arrived first. Jesus felt sorry for them and decided to teach them instead of resting.
Now that we have instituted the obligation to attend mass, we once again honor Sunday as a celebration of the living presence of Jesus in the midst of His people.
Meet Him in the flesh. The Eucharist is the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ. There is no substitute for taking Him into our bodies to feed our souls.
Receive His protection. Divine love and protection are showered on God’s children through the supernatural gift of grace. The more open we are to it – by actively participating in Mass – the more we enjoy the benefits.
Love Him back. The Third Commandment requires that we designate Sunday as our day to honor God. Mass is the most important way we fulfill our obligation to show gratitude to God. “If you love me you will keep my commandments” (John 15:15). If you are worried about your exposure to disease in church, consult your physician and your pastor for advice on extra protections you can take.

Please give yourself extra time when attending daily Mass because there will be more traffic on Boston Post Road and Milton Road.

CHURCH AIR CONDITIONING
The “good old summertime” has arrived. During the summer months, the Church air conditioning will be on most days.
- The Church AC is uneven. Some areas of the Church are cooler than other areas. The front few pews on the right side and parts of Our Lady Chapel and rear of Church are cooler.
- We recommend that parishioners bring a light jacket or sweater if you feel it is too cool in Church.
- If the AC bothers you, we recommend sitting in the middle of the Church where it is not so cool.
- We try to accommodate our people. Some complain that it’s too cool and some complain it’s too warm. We try to be reasonable and sensible. We apologize if you feel uncomfortable.
- Thank you for your anticipated understanding.
