TWO-YEAR-OLD PROGRAM
Applications are being accepted for the 2022-23 school year. We offer classes from 2 to 5 days a week. We are now offering a 12:30-2:30 pm class, and have limited space in the 8-10 am class. Golden Jubilee Wedding Mass

The Golden Jubilee Mass is for couples in the Archdiocese of New York celebrating 50 years of Marriage during 2022.
All those who wish to attend need to contact Julie to register at 914-967-0142.
Pews will be reserved for Golden Jubilee couples only. Up to four (4) additional family and friends will be accommodated in pews outside of the reserve section in general seating.
All Golden Jubilee couples will receive a commemorative certificate. Couples who are unable to attend Mass can request a certificate through the parish.
Registration will close on Monday, May 16, 2022.

Jesus states that his sheep know his voice and follow him, and will receive eternal life.
Jesus also says that no one can snatch his followers away, because God is greater than anyone who might try, and Jesus is one with God.
BAPTISM CLASS
This month’s Baptism Class will be held on Monday, May 23rd (Not May 30th, Memorial Day) 7:30 - 8:30 pm in the Meeting Room in the PREP Building. (please note new location) Parents are required to attend this class.

MOTHER'S DAY DIAPER AND
BABY ITEMS COLLECTION
May is the month of Mary and this year we are celebrating the Blessed Mother Mary and all mothers by reaching out to young mothers in need.
This Weekend, Saturday, May 7th, and Sunday, May 8th Mother’s Day weekend, the Outreach Committee will be collecting boxes of diapers, baby wipes, new baby clothes/blankets, etc. in St. Joseph’s side altar at the front right of the church.
These much-needed items will be distributed to families through our sister parish Holy Rosary, and Good Counsel Daystar home.
Please donate diapers of all sizes, baby wipes, and new layette items for these young mothers. Share the joy of Motherhood and thank you for your continued generosity and support.
PREP Registration for 2022/23 IS OPEN
Please see our website www.ryeprep.org for more information on class days/times and fee schedules. Places in each class are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who complete the registration process first will have the widest choice of days and times.
Our volunteer catechists and co-catechists are the heart and soul of our program. Please consider sharing your faith with the youth of our Parish. Tuition discounts apply.
In addition, if you are aware of parishioners that have children entering Grade 1 next year and who currently do not have children attending the PREP program, please let them know that registration will be opening next week.
COLLEGE-AGED MEN’S SUMMER 2022
BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Resurrection is once again hosting a College-Aged Men’s Summer Basketball League in our air-conditioned Doty gym. We anticipate having 4-6 teams, 10-minute quarters, a 9-game season. College-certified refs will officiate.
Players will be divided into teams based on size and ability. Players entering freshman year of college through age 24 are eligible, high school students are NOT eligible. There will be a high school boys' summer league announcement coming soon.
DETAILS:
For men, age 18 to 24, who have completed High School by June 2022.
Games on Wednesday evenings
June 15th-August 10th at 8 pm or 9 pm
The cost is $100 and includes a team jersey.

3 MINUTE RETREAT
The Bible Book Club will meet Thursday, May 26th, to discuss “Paul: His Story” by Jerome Murphy-O'Connor Oxford University Press USA 2005.
We will meet in the Resurrection Chapel formerly the Methodist Church. Please choose the morning session at 9:30 AM or the evening session at 7:30 PM.
The informal book discussion will last about an hour.
