4. The Live Streaming Masses will be on Saturday at 5 pm and Sunday at 10:00 am.
The recorded Masses can be watched anytime. So, if you miss Mass at Resurrection and you'd like to listen to the homily, the 5 pm and 10 am Masses are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 3 months. Thank you for your understanding.

This Monday, October 10th is Columbus Day a National Holiday celebrating Christopher Columbus who founded America. He also is responsible for bringing Christianity to the New World. Masses are at 8 am and 9 am.

CONFESSIONALS RENOVATED
It has been 40 years since the confessionals in Our Lady’s chapel were installed.
This week we are conducting a renovation to update and modernize it.
On Saturday, October 8th Sacrament of Penance will be celebrated in the alcove outside of the confessional. It should be finished early next week.
Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
COMMUNION STATIONS IN FRONT OF CHURCH
We have moved the Communion Stations from the rear of the center aisle to the FRONT of the Church.
During the pandemic, we distributed Holy Communion at the rear doors of the Church so that people could exit if they wanted-from mass easily.
A priest or Eucharistic Minister will be at the head of the center aisle.
There will also be a Priest or Eucharistic Minister on the right and left sides.
We also will re-institute distributing Holy Communion in Our Lady Chapel. Holy Communion is distributed on the HAND ONLY.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
SANCTUARY LIGHTING
The lights in the sanctuary of the Church around the altar were installed In late 2011. It is now time for them to be repaired or replaced since there is a 10-year life expectancy.
As you can imagine it is a major undertaking because the lights are at least 45 feet high.
The work will begin soon and should take about 2 weeks but it will not interfere with Sunday or weekday masses or funerals or weddings.

Please note that The Baptismal Class for October will be held on Monday, October 24th.
Today's Gospel
Gospel: Luke 17:11-19
Jesus cures ten lepers, but only one returns to express gratitude for being healed. Jesus is disappointed that only one gave thanks to God, but tells that one, "Your faith has been your salvation."
NO CLOTHES OR FOOD OR HOUSEHOLD ITEMS LEFT IN CHURCH
Please do not leave any clothing or household items in the lobby or at the doors of the church.
They are a fire and health hazard. We do not accept clothes or household items.
Please donate them to other places. The Church is not the place to drop off these items.
We only collect food for the POTS Thanksgiving and Christmas luncheon for two weeks in November and two weeks in December.
Resurrection Read Aloud – Community Service
Please Volunteer!
The ReadAloud program helps elementary school students in Port Chester develop an interest in reading. We are offering high school and middle school students in Westchester County the opportunity to be a reader, educator and community builder, which is a great opportunity for any 7th - 12th-grade students who need community service hours. Volunteers read the books supplied by the Resurrection Community Outreach Committee live to the children in grades K-3 at the Don Bosco Community Center in Port Chester, NY.
