4. The Live Streaming Masses will be on Saturday at 5 pm and Sunday at 10:00 am.
The recorded Masses can be watched anytime. So, if you miss Mass at Resurrection and you'd like to listen to the homily, the 5 pm and 10 am Masses are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 3 months. Thank you for your understanding.

FUNDRAISER FOR ST. JOSEPH’S SEMINARY TODAY
Two Seminarians from St.Joseph seminary in Yonkers will be selling chances for their annual fundraiser at Sunday masses in our parish.
Chances are $100 apiece. The winner receives a 2023 brand-new car or $20,000 cash! Thank you for your anticipated generosity.
CARDINAL DOLAN VISITS RYE
Last Thursday, October 13 Cardinal Dolan hosted the annual Westchester Catholic school dinner at Manursing beach club.

UKRAINIAN PEACE FLAG
We are praying for a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine. We put up a Ukrainian peace flag Temporarily in the church to remember our brothers and sisters there who were killed or hurt since February.
We will return The Papal flag when the war is over. May God bless the good people of Ukraine
COMMUNION STATIONS IN FRONT OF CHURCH
We have moved the Communion Stations from the rear of the center aisle to the FRONT of the Church.
During the pandemic, we distributed Holy Communion at the rear doors of the Church so that people could exit if they wanted-from mass easily.
A priest or Eucharistic Minister will be at the head of the center aisle.
There will also be a Priest or Eucharistic Minister on the right and left sides.
We also will re-institute distributing Holy Communion in Our Lady Chapel. Holy Communion is distributed on the HAND ONLY.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
The Resurrection Two-Year-Old program will begin accepting applications for the 2023-2024 School year on Nov 1, 2022. Acceptance priority will be given to families with children enrolled in the Resurrection Twos Program or Grammar School, or who are current parishioners of Resurrection Church.
Applications must be received BEFORE Dec 1, 2022 to receive priority acceptance.

SANCTUARY LIGHTING
The lights in the sanctuary of the Church around the altar were installed In late 2011. It is now time for them to be repaired or replaced since there is a 10-year life expectancy.
As you can imagine it is a major undertaking because the lights are at least 45 feet high.
The work will begin soon and should take about 2 weeks but it will not interfere with Sunday or weekday masses or funerals or weddings.

OCTOBER BAPTISMAL CLASS
Please note that The Baptismal Class for October will be held on Monday, October 24th.
PART OF THE SOLUTION
Please view the short POTS video at your convenience this week. The annual POTS second collection will occur on the weekend of November 12th and November 13th.
For 40 years the good people of our parish have been instrumental in supporting POTS.
Today's Gospel
Gospel: Luke 18:1-8
Jesus speaks about a corrupt judge who lacked respect for either God or man. A widow repeatedly asked him to settle a case in her favor. He finally settled the case, only because he grew weary of listening to her requests.
Jesus points out that if even this corrupt judge eventually listened, then God, who is just, will certainly answer the pleas of his people.
LIFE CHAIN
A peaceful prayer Sunday, October 16th, from 2 pm to 3:30 pm at Kohl's Plaza.
Our Annual Resurrection Outreach Appeal was last weekend to help our local neighbors in need, primarily to feed the hungry in CaritasPC/ Meals on Main Street and Don Bosco in Port Chester.

BEREAVEMENT
Beginning Experience of the Hudson Valley invites men and women of all ages who have suffered the loss of a spouse through death, divorce or separation to Moving Forward with Hope…Coping With Life Alone.

NO CLOTHES OR FOOD OR HOUSEHOLD ITEMS LEFT IN CHURCH
Please do not leave any clothing or household items in the lobby or at the doors of the church.
They are a fire and health hazard. We do not accept clothes or household items.
Please donate them to other places. The Church is not the place to drop off these items.
We only collect food for the POTS Thanksgiving and Christmas luncheon for two weeks in November and two weeks in December.
