1. We pray for the sick of our parish, especially:

2. We pray for the deceased of our parish especially POPE BENEDICT XVI, MARGARET ARCHER, GERALD QUINN, ERNESTINA LLANOS, and FRANCES HEFFERNAN ROONEY.
3. THE MANDATE TO WEAR MASKS IN CHURCH IS LIFTED.
4. The Live Streaming Masses will be on Saturday at 5 pm and Sunday at 10:00 am.
The recorded Masses can be watched anytime. So, if you miss Mass at Resurrection and you'd like to listen to the homily, the 5 pm, and 10 am Masses are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 3 months.

Saturday, January 7th at 5 pm.
Sunday, January 8th at 10:00 am.
There is only one collection at today's mass. Please deposit all offering envelopes in the first collection.

MEMORIAL MASS FOR 2022 DECEASED
There will be a Memorial Mass on Sunday, January 15th, 2023 at 11:15 am for those who died during 2022 and were buried from Resurrection.
The names of the deceased will be read and there will be a candlelight ceremony.
Join us as we remember deceased parishioners on January 15th. (Sorry we cannot add names.)
Today's Gospel
Matthew 2:1-12
Herod learns that Wise Men from the East are searching for the newly born Christ Child. He instructs them to find the Child and to report His whereabouts to him. The Wise Men follow a star to the place where Mary and Jesus are and offer the Child gold, frankincense, and myrrh. They do not return to Herod but follow another route to their own country.
As many of you know, our amazing Mrs. Pircio retired before Christmas. She was a very special part of the RES community and worked at RES for over 30 years.
We extend our prayerful best wishes to Mrs. Pircio for her three decades of distinguished service here. She will be sorely missed.

HELP CATHOLICS COME HOME
Do you know someone who was baptized Catholic but has stopped attending Mass, is questioning the faith, or hasn’t found a parish home? Why not help your friend to come home? Perhaps you can act as a resource or offer to attend Mass together.
If you aren’t sure how to help, ask our priests for advice.
