LENTEN LECTURE
There will be an interesting Lenten Lecture on Tuesday, March 21st at 7:15 pm in the PREP 1st Floor Classroom (building next to the church). The lecture is entitled “A New Model of Hope – Discovering the Gift of Laypeople in These Challenging Times”.
The speaker is Bill Miller, Esq., a layman who is a long-time parishioner and Rye resident. Bill attended the College of Holy Cross (BA Religious Studies, Yale University (M.A. Theology), and Fordham Law School (J.D.).
There will also be time for a Q & A, join us for a fine presentation on March 21st
Refreshments will be served. IT WILL BE HELD IN RESURRECTION CHAPEL AUDITORIUM (use ramp to enter)
Stations of the Cross will be conducted every Friday in Lent at 7 pm.
THE BENOITS WITH FR. DAVID IN JERUSALEM
Parishioners Steve and Faith Benoits met up with Fr. David Barton on Thursday in Jerusalem while on a vacation touring the Holy Lands.
Fr. David is stationed just a few blocks from the Western Wall (The historic Wailing Wall in Jerusalem) It is a symbol of faith and hope and inspiration for all people.
Fr. David sends his best wishes to all parishioners here.

Jesus performs the miracle of giving sight to the man born blind. Because Jesus performed this miracle on the Sabbath, the Pharisees called him a “sinner,” but the blind man said, “He is a prophet.” Jesus later reveals to the blind man that He is the Son of Man.

LINE DANCING
Our parish sponsors weekly Line Dancing on Monday nights at 6:30 pm in The Lower Church Hall.
At 6:30 pm there will be a beginner class where no experience is needed. Your instructor will teach you the basics and build your skills so you will be comfortable keeping up with the experienced folks at local open dances or while traveling to your favorite honky Tonks.
At 7:30 the intermediate class will start, where the dances are faster, the steps a little more complicated and the pace of instruction picks up as well.
Classes have started from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm with beginner class first and then a smooth transition into the intermediate lessons.
All ages are welcome and encouraged to try this. If you are old enough to listen to direct instruction and able to stand without aid you will have an amazing time, but again everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the evening.
