On April 15, 2023, POTS will hold its Annual Gala at Westchester Country Club in Rye, NY. This year, the organization will be honoring Bob and Kate Niehaus for their significant contributions to POTS’ growth and for empowering our community during times of great need.

LENTEN LECTURE
MARCH 21st VIDEO
Last Tuesday we held our Lenten lecture in the Resurrection Chapel Auditorium and the presenter was Bill Miller, Esq., parishioner.
The title of the presentation was “A new model of Hope- Discovering the Gift of laypeople in these challenging times” it was a thought-provoking, inspiring and stimulating conference. Over 100 people attended.

Today's Gospel
John 11:1 - 45
In great detail, John tells the story of the raising of Lazarus to life. Upon learning of the death of Lazarus, his dear friend, Jesus goes to comfort Martha and Mary. After proclaiming, “I am the Resurrection and the Life”, Jesus goes to the tomb of Lazarus and restores him to life.
Fr. Jon Tveit, formerly of Resurrection 2016 - 2019 welcomes Resurrection parishioners on this pilgrimage.
The True Meaning of Easter
As the season of Lent draws to a close and we approach Holy Week, revisit the story of the Resurrection as a family. We've heard the story so many times and become so familiar with it, we might miss just how radical and amazing it truly is!
After spending some time reading through the Easter story, click the video below to watch children explain the story of the Resurrection in their own words, as their parents act it out.

Our parish sponsors weekly Line Dancing on Monday nights at 6:30 pm in The Lower Church Hall.
At 6:30 pm there will be a beginner class where no experience is needed. Your instructor will teach you the basics and build your skills so you will be comfortable keeping up with the experienced folks at local open dances or while traveling to your favorite honky Tonks.
At 7:30 the intermediate class will start, where the dances are faster, the steps a little more complicated and the pace of instruction picks up as well.
Classes have started from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm with beginner class first and then a smooth transition into the intermediate lessons.
