The recorded Masses can be watched anytime. For example, if you miss Mass at Resurrection and you'd like to listen to the homily, the 5 pm, and 10 am Masses are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 3 months.

Dear Parents and Families:
I would like to inform you of the security updates to the Resurrection Campus for the upcoming school year.
- A School Safety Officer (armed and concealed) to cover both the grammar and middle school has been approved for the 2023-24 school year. This will address some of the safety concerns and as you all know I have included this position into the budget for the 2023/2024 school year.
- We have approved several security features for our schools which will be implemented for the start of the new school year. We will have a video surveillance system installed that will monitor the exterior of the grammar and middle school as well as the surrounding grounds.
- In addition, we will be adding to our existing interior surveillance at the grammar and middle schools to monitor hallways and stairwells.
- I have also approved the installation of a protective security film to be placed over all the windows and doors at both the grammar and middle school buildings.
- Also we will be providing the staff with updated portable radios for better and faster communication if the need arises.
- We will be restricting unnecessary visitors to our schools during the day. Please send lunch with your children and avoid dropping it off. Please email Mr. Ellis if you have a specific question or for an appointment.
- The safety and security of both students and staff is paramount and as such I have also instructed our Principal, Assistant Principal, School Safety Officer and our Facilities Manager to continually monitor the property and its buildings so we can address any new safety concerns which may arise in the future.

2024 MASS BOOK IS OPENED JUNE 20TH
Remembering a loved one at Mass is a noble and recommended way to honor a deceased or living person
The 2024 Mass Intentions Book at Resurrection will be open for requests starting Wednesday, June 20th. There will be a limit of seven masses per family and two names per Mass.
The weekday Mass offering is $20.00 per Mass and the weekend Masses offering is $25.00 per Mass.
We will be using a new online system that will allow you to view and select available Mass times and make the offering payment by credit card.
The link to the new system will be sent on Tuesday, June 20th at 12 noon and added to the Church website.

The Resurrection Little’s Camp for children entering Pre K-3 to Kindergarten this Fall has a few spots available. We welcome any friends and families from the parish and community. Please let your friends know. Follow the link below for more information and to register!
FRENCH CHILDREN CHOIR VISIT
Our Parish will host the renowned French children’s choir “Choeur d'Enfants d'Île De France” from Friday, July 21st through Monday, July 24th. This famous children’s choir is known for its vocal color, round and powerful, the level of its repertoire, and the quality of its performance. There are 36 boys and girls in the choir will be touring Canada, Boston, Connecticut, and New York this summer. The renowned Francis Bardot is the choir director.
There will be a 75-minute concert in our parish on Friday, July 21st at 6 pm (more information to follow).
We are looking for 18 Resurrection families to host two of these choir members for 3 nights, Friday, July 21st, at 7 pm through Monday, July 24th, at 9 am. Host families should provide lodging, meals, and supervision during the visit. The choir will practice and attend day trips in the New York area most of the day. Host family responsibilities include:
- 7/21 - 4 pm choir arrives at Resurrection; 6 pm opening concert in the church; after concert dinner with their host family at a modest restaurant is recommended.
- 7/22 & 7/23 - breakfast followed by a drop off at Resurrection by 9 am then a pick up at Resurrection at 6 pm, followed by dinner provided by the host family.
- Breakfast on 7/24 followed by a drop off at Resurrection by 9 am.
The ability to speak French is a plus, but not necessary. One of the charisms of the choir is to stay for a few nights in an American home. If you would like to host 2 choir members (ages 9-14; boys or girls) please call or email the Rectory, at 914-967-0142 or rectory910@resurrectionrectory.com. The children’s choir will also sing at the 11:15 am Mass on Sunday, July 23rd.
A Parish Barbeque will be on the field from 12:30-2:30 pm on July 23rd.

This will be an enriching and rewarding weekend for the host families and our parish family.
A few weeks ago we announced the recipients of the 2023 resurrection scholarship to RHS seniors, Matthew Felshman and Caroline Kirby.
Unbeknownst to us, they are friends who actually went to their PROM together. What a small world.
Congratulations again to these two fine young people.

COMPLIMENTARY COPIES OF BISHOP BARRONS LATEST BOOK
Many thanks to the Schultze family for donating copies of “This is my Body”by Bishop Robert Barron that were distributed last week at Masses, Corpus Christi.
Bishop Barron is an excellent Catholic communicator and a gifted biblical commentator, who has written this fine book.
There are a few books left over and can be picked up at the table by the Sacristy exit today.

Opening Your Heart explores the fundamental questions of our Catholic faith and our relationship with Jesus Christ. We'll dig into such topics as prayer, conquering our fears, and what we're supposed to do with suffering that feels senseless. As we're wrestling with our questions through the study, we'll be challenged to open our hearts to the only One who can bring the healing and transformation we so desire.
Classes will begin in the fall on either Tuesday mornings or Wednesday evenings.
