The recorded Masses can be watched anytime. For example, if you miss Mass at Resurrection and you'd like to listen to the homily, the 5 pm, and 10 am Masses are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 3 months.

2024 MASS BOOK IS NOW OPEN
Remembering a loved one at Mass is a noble and recommended way to honor a deceased or living person
The 2024 Mass Intentions Book at Resurrection will be open for requests starting Wednesday, June 20th. There will be a limit of seven masses per family and two names per Mass.
The weekday Mass offering is $20.00 per Mass and the weekend Masses offering is $25.00 per Mass.
We will be using a new online system that will allow you to view and select available Mass times and make the offering payment by credit card.

VOLUNTEER CATECHISTS NEEDED!
The PREP is in need of volunteer catechists for the 2023-3024 year. Please consider joining our wonderful family of dedicated catechists! High school seniors are eligible to teach as well.

FRENCH CHILDREN CHOIR VISIT
Our Parish will host the renowned French children’s choir “Choeur d'Enfants d'Île De France” from Friday, July 21st through Monday, July 24th. This famous children’s choir is known for its vocal color, round and powerful, the level of its repertoire, and the quality of its performance. There are 36 boys and girls in the choir will be touring Canada, Boston, Connecticut, and New York this summer. The renowned Francis Bardot is the choir director.
There will be a 75-minute concert in our parish on Friday, July 21st at 6 pm (more information to follow).
We are looking for 18 Resurrection families to host two of these choir members for 3 nights, Friday, July 21st, at 7 pm through Monday, July 24th, at 9 am. Host families should provide lodging, meals, and supervision during the visit. The choir will practice and attend day trips in the New York area most of the day. Host family responsibilities include:
7/21 - 4 pm choir arrives at Resurrection; 6 pm opening concert in the church; after concert dinner with their host family at a modest restaurant is recommended.
7/22 & 7/23 - breakfast followed by a drop off at Resurrection by 9 am then a pick up at Resurrection at 6 pm, followed by dinner provided by the host family.
Breakfast on 7/24 followed by a drop off at Resurrection by 9 am.
The ability to speak French is a plus, but not necessary. One of the charisms of the choir is to stay for a few nights in an American home. If you would like to host 2 choir members (ages 9-14; boys or girls) please call or email the Rectory, at 914-967-0142 or rectory910@resurrectionrectory.com. The children’s choir will also sing at the 11:15 am Mass on Sunday, July 23rd.
A Parish Barbeque will be on the field from 12:30-2:30 pm on July 23rd.

This will be an enriching and rewarding weekend for the host families and our parish family. The response has been excellent so far, we have spots for 34 of the 40 choir members, but we still need 3 or 4 families to take 2 choir members each. Please let us know on Wednesday, July 5th.

Jesus speaks lovingly and gently when he invites all those who are weary and burdened with life to seek relief and respite in him.
He says, “Your souls will find rest, for my yoke is easy and my burden light.”
CHURCH AIR CONDITIONING
The “Good Old Summertime” has arrived. During the summer months, the Church air conditioning will be on most days.
- The Church AC is uneven. Some areas of the Church are cooler than other areas. The front few pews on the right side and parts of Our Lady Chapel and the rear of the Church are cooler.
- We recommend that parishioners bring a light jacket or sweater if you feel it is too cool in Church.
- If the AC bothers you, we recommend sitting in the middle of the Church where it is not so cool.
- We try to accommodate our people. Some complain that it’s too cool and some complain it’s too warm. We try to be reasonable and sensible. We apologize if you feel uncomfortable.
