The recorded Masses can be watched anytime. For example, if you miss Mass at Resurrection and you'd like to listen to the homily, the 5 pm, and 10 am Masses are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 3 months.

The Eighth Grade class of 2024 is excited to announce the annual CAR WASH on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 10:00 am-2:00 pm (Raindate - October 22) in the Resurrection Two's Program parking lot at 88 Milton Rd. Tickets are $20 per car or donation.

ACADEMY REUNION
Resurrection Academy celebrated their 50th Anniversary Last Weekend. They had Saturday Night Dinner, and Sunday 10 a.m. Mass, a Tour of the School, and Sunday Brunch.
Beth Matthews '73 was the coordinator. Over half of the graduating class showed up, some from across the street and some from across America.
Congratulations to the Class of 1973 from Resurrection Academy.
Our music ministry and especially our adult choir could really use your help. Would you please pray especially hard this weekend while you're at Mass and see if the Holy Spirit will guide you to answer the call and help revitalize our Choir. If you have any doubt, any question as little or as silly as you may think it is, PLEASE let me know. I am willing to work with each and every individual so that together we can make this work for the benefit of the Parish.
Registration will be ongoing for the next several weeks.
If you can't make it this week or next week then come in three weeks. If you have ever wondered what it would be like, come and see. You don't have to sing the first time, just come and watch and see what it's about. You don't have to be an opera singer or be able to read music. Just a good ear, a love for music and a willingness to serve your parish.
The final group I'd like to highlight in our Music Ministry is a new group that consists of absolutely no one at this very moment. Our parish instrumental ensemble. We are looking for musicians in our parish to join the choirs for special occasions such as Easter, Christmas, Pentecost, and Holy Thursday. If you play any string, woodwind, or brass instrument please let me know. I am building a database to see which instruments could be represented in the ensemble. The musicians for this group must have good music-reading skills. If you are a high school instrumentalist and have scored well in NYSSMA (Level 5 or higher) then you would be a good fit for this group.

Dear Parishioners,
The POTS Leadership Committee needs volunteers to bring the food donations from the church vestibule to the closet in the church basement for the upcoming POTS Thanksgiving Luncheon.
These donations are heavy, so please do not volunteer if you have back problems! Volunteers will be needed from November 4th until the day before Thanksgiving. We are looking for two volunteers for each weekday and four volunteers for both Saturday and Sunday.
This is an excellent opportunity to perform some meaningful community service! Your time and effort will be greatly appreciated, and generous community service hours will be awarded.

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS LAST WEEKEND
Meals on Main Street (MOMS) will race our Third Annual MILES FOR MOMS event in downtown Port Chester on Sunday, October 15th at 8:30 am.
This year, proceeds from the race will go directly towards the 120,000 pounds of food needed to feed our community during the holiday season - meals for everyone's table from Thanksgiving through New Year, to be enjoyed with family and friends, for everyone and anyone in need. Will you race with us to help distribute these meals for our neighbors during the upcoming holidays?

Matthew 21:33-43
In another rebuke to the chief priests and the elders, Jesus recounts a parable in which the owner of a vineyard leases his vineyard to tenant farmers. When the owner sends his servants and even his son to claim his rightful share of the crops, the tenants kill all of them. With some bitterness, Jesus warns the chief priests that “the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to people that will yield a rich harvest.
