The recorded Masses can be watched anytime. For example, if you miss Mass at Resurrection and you'd like to listen to the homily, the 5 pm, and 10 am Masses are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 3 months.
THANKSGIVING MASSES
Thanksgiving Day is on Thursday, November 23rd.
The Mass schedule is 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Mass on Thanksgiving.
Parishioners and families are encouraged to attend Mass and start the day off with the Eucharist. Please note there are two morning Masses.
SPECIAL COLLECTION TODAY
The POTS team is in dire need of food donations for its annual Thanksgiving Luncheon to feed the homeless and hungry on Thanksgiving day. Please consider donating one or more of the items on the list—Jerry's Post Rd. Market is taking orders for turkeys for those parishioners who would like to donate but don't have the time or refrigerator space. Please call (914) 967-7033 to place your order.

The POTS Team
HARVEST DINE AROUND
The annual benefit for POTS was held last Tuesday, November 14, at Hampshire Country Club, Mamaroneck. It was a huge success with over $400,000 raised.
It was presented by the Club Chefs of Westchester. It was a celebration of community, delicious food, and dedication to alleviating poverty and hunger.
Resurrection Parish has been supporting POTS since the beginning.

WELCOME DEACON WILLIAM MENDOZA
We welcome Deacon William Mendoza, 27, a student at Saint Joseph Seminary, Yonkers, who will be coming to our parish on weekends for the next six months.
Deacon Mendoza is a fourth-year student at Dunwoodie and will be attending classes on weekdays and joining us on weekends.
He will be at masses this weekend to say hello. He will be serving as a deacon at Mass, and preaching the homily. He will also be available for baptisms and weddings, and distributing holy communion, and visiting Sunday PREP classes.
We know that you will give deacon Mendoza a warm welcome.
50th & 25th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Our parish will be Hosting a Mass on Sunday, December 10th at 11:15 am for couples who celebrated their 50th and 25th Wedding Anniversaries
in 2023.
Any couple celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary (1973) or 25th Wedding Anniversary (1998) in 2023 is most welcome. There will be a renewal of vows and a special Blessing during Mass.
Jubilarian couples are asked to register at 967-0142 by December 6th.
CYO MASS NOVEMBER 26TH
The Annual CYO Mass for players, coaches, and families will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at 11.15 AM Mass. (Thanksgiving weekend).
We are delighted to have as our guest speaker Mr. Dan Muse, assistant coach for the New York Rangers, currently in first place in their division.
All players and coaches are required to attend. A gift will be presented to everyone.
Today's Gospel
Matthew 25:14-30
Jesus narrates the parable of the talents – in the story, the silver pieces given to the three men. Two of the men invest their coins and double their worth, but the third buries his coins in the ground and earns no return. The message of Jesus is that we must use to the fullest the talents we have received.
Please join us for the Annual Lighting of the Resurrection Christmas Trees on Saturday, December 2nd, following the 5:00 pm Mass.
There will be a Christmas sing-along, as well as a special visitor from the North Pole.
All are welcome, especially young families!
THE DIFFERENCE CHRIST MAKES
ADVENT RETREAT FOR MEN
Church of the Resurrection
Saturday, December 9th, 3 pm - 6 pm including Saturday Vigil Mass. All men of the parish are most welcome to this outstanding mini retreat.
COFFEE HOUR
There will be a “Coffee Hour” after the 8:45 am Mass on Sunday, December 17th in The Lower Church Hall. Refreshments will be served.
There will be a special visitor from the North Pole and Frosty the Snowman who will pose for photos and distribute religious gifts.
BAPTISM CLASS
December Baptism Class will be held on Monday, December 18th from 7:30 - 8:30 pm in the Grammar School. Parents are required to attend this class.
