The recorded Masses can be watched anytime. For example, if you miss Mass at Resurrection and want to listen to the Homily, the 5 pm, and 10 am Masses are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 3 months.

MINISTRY SIGN-UPS

SEPTEMBER 14-15

As you know, there is a serious shortage of people involved in our parish. Since the end of Covid, we have experienced a major decrease in volunteers.

There will be a sign-up for volunteers on Saturday, September 14 after the 5 PM mass and after all masses on Sunday, September 15. We are desperately looking for talented and dedicated parishioners to consider our invitation once or twice a month as:

• LECTORS

• ALTAR SERVERS (grades 5-9)

• EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS

• CHOIR MEMBERS

• RELIGIOUS EDUCATION TEACHERS

Please consider our request to serve in one of these important ministries. You don’t have to be a saint to work here! All we’re asking for is a small commitment monthly.

There will be a TABLE to register after masses on September 14th and 15th in the sanctuary.

If you would like to think about it or talk about it, speak to the person at the desk and someone will get back to you. God bless you.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Able to carry light notes across the sanctuary.

Able to breathe in a normal manner.

Have sung “Happy Birthday" at least once in your life.

EXPERIENCE:

No applications accepted from persons who have not sung, whistled or hummed in the shower at some time.

BEGINNING WAGES:

Guaranteed satisfaction and joy in the service of the Lord.

HOURS: Thursday's 7 pm to 8:30 pm & Sunday's 9 am to 10:45 am

WEATHER: If the weather is bad and you can’t come, you are forgiven by the director. He won’t be there as well.

BENEFITS:

HEALTH: All that extra breathing is good for you!

SOCIAL SECURITY: We promise you the security of fellowship with other fine

members of the choir.

LONG TERM: You can stay forever if you wish.

RETIREMENT: Generally determined when printed notes get too small or notes are too high, the organist is unable to play the notes you sing, or the director can’t play the notes that you are trying to sing.

Come give the Adult Choir a try! We have a great time! Our first rehearsal will be on Sept 19th at 7:30 p.m. in the choir room located on the first floor of the PREP building.

We are still in need of catechists for grades 4, 5 and 6 on Wednesday afternoons from 3:45 pm- 5:00 pm.

Sharing your faith with the children of Resurrection Parish is a rewarding and faith-enriching experience!

Lesson plans will be provided. Please consider volunteering.
