The recorded Masses can be watched anytime. For example, if you miss Mass at Resurrection and want to listen to the Homily, the 5 pm, and 10 am Masses are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 3 months.
MINISTRY SIGN-UPS
SEPTEMBER 14-15
As you know, there is a serious shortage of people involved in our parish. Since the end of Covid, we have experienced a major decrease in volunteers.
There will be a sign-up for volunteers on Saturday, September 14 after the 5 PM mass and after all masses on Sunday, September 15. We are desperately looking for talented and dedicated parishioners to consider our invitation once or twice a month as:
• LECTORS
• ALTAR SERVERS (grades 5-9)
• EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
• CHOIR MEMBERS
• RELIGIOUS EDUCATION TEACHERS
Please consider our request to serve in one of these important ministries. You don’t have to be a saint to work here! All we’re asking for is a small commitment monthly.
There will be a TABLE to register after masses on September 14th and 15th in the sanctuary.

DEACON THOMAS PIRO
WELCOME
We are delighted to welcome Deacon Tom Piro to Resurrection this weekend. He will be serving on weekends here until May 2025 when he is ordained a priest. He will continue his formation studies at Saint Joseph’s Seminary in Yonkers on weekdays
Deacon Tom, 26, is from the Diocese of Camden New Jersey. His family are parishioners of Notre Dame parish in Wildwood New Jersey. He was ordained a Deacon in May 2024 by Bishop Dennis J. Sullivan. Bishop Sullivan is the former Vicar General of the Archdiocese of New York.
Deacon Tom received a BA from Seton Hall University, South Orange, New Jersey. He also received an MA from Saint Joseph seminary in Yonkers where he is currently completing studies. He comes to our parish for pastoral experience as a Deacon.
He will assist at masses as a deacon, distribute holy communion, celebrate baptisms, and weddings, he will also visit Resurrection School, and Resurrection Prep.
This is a great honor for all of us because we are responsible for being good role models and teachers to him. This is a busy parish and hopefully a good experience for preparing for the priesthood.
