The recorded Masses can be watched anytime. For example, if you miss Mass at Resurrection and want to listen to the Homily, the 5 pm, and 10 am Masses are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 3 months.
Dear Parishioners of Resurrection Church,
As we begin to look ahead to the seasons of Thanksgiving and Christmas, we are reaching out with an opportunity to serve and make a meaningful impact in our community.
We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers to join the POTS Leadership Committee—the team that oversees the planning and coordination of our annual Thanksgiving and Christmas luncheons to feed the homeless and hungry in the Bronx. These cherished events are a vital part of our outreach, offering food, fellowship, and the warmth of the holiday spirit to those in need.
Committee members help with organizing logistics, coordinating volunteers, obtaining food donations, and ensuring each luncheon runs smoothly and joyfully. Whether you have volunteered at a luncheon in the past and are looking for a role with greater responsibilities, or are simply looking for a new way to give back, we would be blessed to have your help.

A novena of Masses will be celebrated for the names submitted. Please list the names of Mothers on the top front of the envelopes, which can be found in the back of the Church. The suggested donation is $25.
It is important to remember and honor our Mothers at Mass.
BAPTISM CLASS
The Baptism Class for May will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm, and will be in THE GRAMMAR SCHOOL.
The statue of Saint Theresa of Avila will be dedicated on Sunday, May 11th, at 11:15 a.m., in honor of our beloved Sister Danielle Baran.
Please join us as we remember this wonderful woman who guided so many of us to her beloved JC.
TODAYS GOSPEL
John 21:1-19
Jesus appeared to the disciples for the third time since his resurrection while they were fishing. They hadn't caught anything, and then Jesus advised them to cast their net from the other side of the boat.
When they did this, they caught a great number of fish. Jesus then asked Peter three times, "Do you love me?" When Peter said he did, Jesus asked him to tend and feed his sheep.
