The recorded Masses can be viewed at any time. For example, if you miss Mass at Resurrection and want to listen to the Homily, the 5 pm and 10 am Masses are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 3 months.

POTS Thanksgiving Meal Location Change
Dear Parish Family,
For decades, Resurrection Church in Rye has partnered with POTS (Part of the Solution) to provide a Thanksgiving meal for our neighbors in need. This cherished tradition has impacted countless lives and continues to reflect the parish’s deep commitment to service, community, and gratitude.
This year, we are excited to announce that the POTS Thanksgiving Meal will take place at St. Philip Neri School on the Grand Concourse (between 202nd and 203rd Streets). The new site is only a five-minute walk from the previous location, ensuring that our neighbors and volunteers will still be able to come together to serve.
While the location is changing, the heart of the tradition remains the same: Resurrection parishioners and Bronx neighbors will unite to share joy, hospitality, and thanksgiving as one family. We are grateful to St. Philip Neri School for welcoming us as a partner, and we are working closely with them to ensure a smooth transition.
An electronic sign-up for volunteers and food donations will be available in early October. Please keep an eye out for more details on how you can contribute to making this year’s Thanksgiving meal a success.

Children’s Choir Has Begun
Our parish children’s choir has begun and we will be accepting new singers for the entire month of October! Have you ever thought it would be a good idea to get your child more involved with church but you couldn’t think of anything besides CCD or PREP? Well, if your child has a pleasant singing voice and loves to go to music class at school then the parish children’s choir would be the perfect place for them. Not only do we teach the music that we sing at Mass, but we also an extension to their religious training in PREP. We discuss the parts of the Mass, the season of the church liturgical year, Saints, how to be good Catholics, and much more.
The children’s choir sings every other Sunday at the 8:45 am Mass with our first Sunday for this choir season being October 19th. Rehearsals are EVERY Thursday at 6:00 PM in the Grammar school music room. The grammar school is the building directly behind the church. The music room can be accessed directly from the parking lot. The door is to the left of the main entrance to the school.

Our music ministry is in full swing, and we are on the hunt for a few more passionate singers to elevate our choir to new heights.
Imagine leaving church on a Sunday, and the only thing on everyone's lips is the breathtaking performance of our parish choir. This dream can become a reality, and you can be a part of it! We need more voices, particularly MEN, to enrich our sound with the deep, resonant tones of basses and tenors. Don't worry if you've never sung in parts or can't read music. Your love for music, commitment to weekly rehearsals, and a pleasant singing voice are all that matter. I will guide you through the rest!
Ladies, we need you too! Sopranos and Altos, if singing is your passion, join us for a few rehearsals this fall. Experience the joy of being part of something extraordinary and see if you'd like to make it a regular commitment. Our adult choir rehearses every Thursday evening at 7:00 PM in the choir room on the 2nd floor of the PREP building next to the church. We gather on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM to warm up and perfect our music for the 10:00 AM liturgy.
And there's more! We are eagerly seeking voices for our Christmas Eve celebration. Join us for the 6:00 PM Christmas Eve Mass and be part of a magical evening.
