The recorded Masses can be viewed at any time. For example, if you miss Mass at Resurrection and want to listen to the Homily, the 5 pm and 10 am Masses are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 3 months.

ALL SAINTS DAY
Saturday, November 1st is the Feast of All Saints. It is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year.
Masses are: 8 am and 5 pm
ALL SOULS NOVENA
Sunday, November 2, is All Souls Day. It is a day when we pray for all our beloved dead. If you wish to have your loved ones remembered during our All Souls Novena and throughout the Month of November please use the special envelope provided in your envelope packets.

You are warmly invited to join us for our Monthly Family Rosary Night on Tuesday, October 28 at 6:45 PM in the Msgr. Boyle Sacred Heart Garden (located between the church and middle school). We’ll plan to gather outdoors, but will move indoors if the weather is cold or rainy.
Come and share in an evening of family prayer and fellowship as we pray the Rosary together. One of the greatest gifts we can give our children is the confidence to pray the Rosary—a powerful prayer that brings peace and strength at every stage of life.

CLASS OF 1975
Last Saturday, we hosted the Resurrection Academy Class of 1975 at Mass and a tour of their old school and supper in the newly renovated Middle School Cafeteria.
James Doherty Class of 2023 from Resurrection MS conducted the tour. Pictured with the class of 1975 is Fr Epi.
We want to extend a thank you to the Class of 1975 on their 50th Anniversary of Graduation and for their generosity.
They are most welcome at Resurrection. Some traveled from California, Florida, and some traveled from Mamaroneck!

POTS THANKSGIVING LUNCHEON

Dear Resurrection Parishioners,
Your generosity and hard work make the POTS Thanksgiving and Christmas Luncheons possible each year, bringing warmth and dignity to hundreds of guests in the Bronx. Thank you for your continued support!
This year brings some important changes.
The luncheons will now be held at:

We are not requesting roasted turkeys this year because of the new location and limited refrigeration. Instead, we’re partnering with Crisfield’s of Rye to provide beautifully prepared trays of sliced turkey (a mix of white and dark meat in light gravy).
Turkey Tray Options:
- Half Tray – $75
- Full Tray – $150 (feeds ~30 people)
To donate:
- Call Crisfield’s directly at (914) 967-0152 to place and pay for your order.
- Add your name to the online sign-up to ensure your donation is included in the turkey tally.
Setup Day:
Some setup shifts are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, November 26, to ensure a smooth Thanksgiving Day luncheon.
Parking:
No parking lot is available at St. Philip Neri.
Nearby options: Jerome Avenue Lot (short walk) or Botanical Garden Garage (14-minute walk).

TODAY'S GOSPEL
Gospel: Luke 18:9-14
Jesus tells a parable about a Pharisee who went to the temple, and offered up a prayer of thanks because he was not a sinner like the tax collector who was also there to pray.
The tax collector was far more humble, acknowledging his sins, and asking forgiveness for them. Jesus said the tax collector's prayer would be heard because, "Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, while he who humbles himself will be exalted."
