The recorded Masses can be viewed at any time. For example, if you miss Mass at Resurrection and want to listen to the Homily, the 5 pm and 10 am Masses are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 3 months.
SPECIAL COLLECTION TODAY
Thanksgiving Day is on Thursday, November 27th.
The Mass schedule is 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Mass on Thanksgiving.
Parishioners and families are encouraged to attend Mass and start the day off with the Eucharist. Please note there are two morning Masses.
50th & 25th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Our parish will host a Mass on Sunday, December 14th, at 11:15 a.m. for couples who celebrated their 50th and 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2025.
Any couple celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary (1975) or 25th Wedding Anniversary (2000) in 2025 is most welcome. There will be a renewal of vows and a special Blessing during Mass.
Jubilarian couples are asked to register at 967-0142 by December 8th.
CONGRATULATIONS
Best wishes to the Rye High School Varsity Football team for winning their playoff game last Friday night November, 14th. They defeated Somers High School by the score of 40 to 17, becoming Section 1 Class A champions.
The team players surprised their coach by attending the opening Mass here last Sunday and hearing his talk. Carson Miller, extreme right, is the quarterback and will be attending Harvard in the fall.
The coach of the team, Dino Garr, spoke to the players, coaches, and families of our CYO basketball program who gathered together for their opening Mass. Coach Garr has been coaching football in Westchester for 50 years! He and his lovely wife, Cathy still reside in Rye.
Coach Garr spoke about hard work, manners, courtesy, and sportsmanship. He attended Resurrection School, where he was an Altar server and played baseball.
Our hearty best wishes to Coach Dino Garr, and the Rye High School varsity football team.
Through the intercession of St. Carlo Acutis, May all of the CYO teams from our parish, players, coaches, and families at Resurrection, have a successful year of improvement, hope, and growth.

Thanksgiving Luncheon Update
A heartfelt thank you to all our generous parishioners for your incredible support of the POTS Thanksgiving Luncheon!
Thanks to you, all of the Crisfield’s turkey tray orders have been filled — what a blessing!
However, we are still in urgent need of the following items:
- 🥫 Canned corn (largest size available)
- 🥔 Boxed mashed potatoes (Costco-sized boxes appreciated)
- 🍞 Boxed stuffing (Costco-sized boxes appreciated)
- 🥧 Apple, Pumpkin, and Pecan pies (Costco-sized pies appreciated)
- 🧁 Little Bites snack packs (for to-go bags)
We are also in need of volunteers to help with cleanup after the luncheon, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING
Please join us for the Annual Lighting of the Resurrection Christmas Trees on Saturday, December 6th, following the 5:00 p.m. Mass.
There will be a Christmas sing-along and a special visitor from the North Pole.
All are welcome, especially young families!
It was on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (then celebrated on Dec 9) that Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the unborn and of the Americas, first appeared to St. Juan Diego.
The National Night of Prayer for Life bridges these two feasts to honor Our Blessed Mother and to pray for the Lord’s mercy and restore life, liberty, faith and peace.

BAPTISM CLASS
December Baptism Class will be held on Monday, December 29th from 7:30 - 8:30 pm in the Grammar School. Parents are required to attend this class.

Luke 23:35-43
Jesus is mocked by the crowd as he hung on the cross. Above him was an inscription that read “This is the king of the Jews.” One of the men being crucified with Jesus tells Him to save them and Himself, while the other asks that he be remembered when Jesus is in his kingdom. Jesus said in reply, “Amen I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
